Join us on the weekend of August 8th-10th, as we celebrate the Taste of the Danforth—one of North America’s largest street festivals! The road will close to all vehicles at noon on Friday August 8th, and a million people will descend on the neighborhood to eat, buy rocks, eat, buy rocks, eat, buy rocks, and eat some more. It is a crazy, fun and wild weekend! All the restaurants from Broadview to Jones Ave. will have tables out on the sidewalk, inviting hungry pedestrians to grow larger day by day. Besides the food, the best part of all is the fact that the street is just for people—no cars, just shoes. Gifts from the Earth will be open ’til midnight or later on the Friday and Saturday, and probably to at least 9 or 10pm on Sunday. Come hungry, leave full.  See you there!
