Prairie Tanzanite is a recently discovered mineral from the Wyoming jade fields that is a blend of purple/pink zoisite and cream jade, not actually blue tanzanite. It was named “Prairie Tanzanite” to honor the zoisite’s connection to Tanzania and its North American prairie origin. This stone is valued for its unique appearance and is said to have metaphysical properties related to the heart and third eye chakras.
