Description
Amber is not a gemstone or mineral, but fossilized sap from
prehistoric trees aged over millions of years. Early physicians
prescribed amber for a variety of ailments (headaches, heart
problems, arthritis etc.). In ancient times, amber was carried by
travelers for protection. To early Christians, amber signified the
presence of the Lord. In some Asian cultures, amber is the
symbol of courage and regarded as the “soul of the tiger.” Amber
is thought to be a detoxifier of radiation (sun, computers, xrays
etc.) and can be placed on one’s desk near their computer. Amber
is also said to be excellent for manifestation and recommended
for those meeting challenging or frustrating situations.
