Description
Obsidian is a type of volcanic glass that forms when lava cools
rapidly after contacting water. Layers of gas bubbles in the cooling
rock create patterns that give a “sheen” effect. There are two types
of Sheen Obsidian; Gold and Silver. Gold-Sheen Obsidian is said to
alleviate feelings of futility and help deal with ego-conflict. Silver
Sheen Obsidian imparts patience, perseverence and helps connect
the astral body with the physcial body. In general, Sheen Obsidian is
said to enhance worldly success through the expression of hidden
talents and unique skills. It is also thought to align personal will to
that of the Divine. Both forms of Sheen Obisidian shield against
negative energy and are used as powerful protection stones.
