Description
Charoite Meanings
Discovered in the 1940s in the Murun mountains of Russia, Charoite
remained relatively unknown for almost 40 years until 1978. The original
site where it was found near the Charo River in eastern Siberia, is still the
only known location for this rare mineral. Charoite gets its name from the
Russian word “Chary” meaning “magic” or “charms”. Charoite is indeed a
“charmed” stone as it heals and transforms on many levels. It is used for
acceptance, letting go and living in the present. It imparts determination
and increased attention span for overcoming obstacles and overwhelming
amounts of work. It is a symbol of endurance in the face of adversity and is
helpful in overcoming fears, obsessions and compulsions. Charoite is also a
superior dream stone and encourages service to humanity and Spirit.
